What to Do at Christmas with Your School or Organization

What to Do at Christmas with Your School or Organization
OCTOBER 2026
If you’re a teacher or part of an association, senior center, or cultural organization, this is for you. At Indiana Tours Valencia, we organize dramatized tours for groups and schools in Valencia, Peñíscola, Gandia, and Cullera: experiences where the group doesn’t just listen—they also participate in the mystery and the performance. If you’re a teacher, you’ll want to lock in a date in advance. If you organize activities for your association, this is the unique and original plan you’re looking for to make this holiday season even more special.

Who We Are and What Happens on Our Tours

We’re Indiana Tours Valencia, and since 2021 we’ve been exploring the streets of Valencia, Peñíscola, Gandia, and—starting this school year—Cullera, with school field trips and dramatized tours that are unlike any typical guided tour. Leading each tour is Indy, our guide and character, who turns every street into a mystery to be solved and every group into a part of the story.

And something happens here that’s hard to explain until you see it with your own eyes: just as the Pied Piper of Hamelin managed to get the town’s children to follow him with nothing but his music, Indy achieves something similar with every group that visits us—he gets an entire group, regardless of age, to immerse themselves fully in the story from the very first minute and follow, spellbound, in the footsteps of the explorer-archaeologist in search of the Holy Grail.

There’s something that money can’t buy and that you don’t experience every day: the sparkle in the eyes of those who, for two hours, stop being spectators and become protagonists.

Who Is This Experience For?

Our tours have been attended by schools at all levels—from elementary through college—as well as sports clubs, Scout groups, private birthday parties, First Communion celebrations, and many associations and groups for people with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Indy wins over everyone from a 6-year-old to a 99-year-old, regardless of cultural or educational background, whether they’re neurotypical or neurodivergent, or whether they walk or use a wheelchair: the presentation, the mystery, and the interactive elements work equally well for everyone, because they don’t depend on understanding a specific fact, but rather on letting yourself be carried away by the story—which Indy makes sure to adapt to each group.

With nearly 2,000 reviews from schools, families, clubs, and organizations that have already experienced our program, it’s not just us saying this.

Choose an adventure with Indy this Christmas and make your students’ or group’s eyes light up

For schools, December is a short month: the best dates—the ones that let you choose a day and time at your leisure before the holidays begin—are concentrated between late November and mid-December, and they fill up fast. The sooner you make your reservation, the easier it is to choose the date everyone wants—the week before school breaks.

For associations, clubs, and groups organizing activities for their members, it’s a different story: Christmas itself is the time—those weeks around Christmas Eve when people are in the mood for something different from the usual routine of holiday meals and nougat—and when it’s also best to plan ahead to secure the time slot that works best for the group. In both cases, what’s at stake is the same afternoon: the one that stays in your memory long after the holidays are over, whether as the school field trip everyone will talk about all year or as the group outing people will recount for months.

An inclusive activity that promotes values and real-life experiences away from screens

Our activity is recommended by Tour & Kids, and we hold the PREDIF Accessible Tourism Seal of Approval; in 2023, we were recognized as the Best Accessible Experience by Crea Turisme, with our excursions in Valencia and Gandia being 100% accessible and all four destinations 100% inclusive. Inclusion is part of how we design every experience from the very beginning: we adapt the pace, language, and presentation so that the magic reaches the entire group equally, regardless of their background.
